My office is having a blood drive. Though as a telecommuter it is logistically impossible for me to attend, I am still included in all communications about local events, and while usually that bothers me (e.g., "Cake in the mailroom!"), today it made me endlessly pleased. A coworker just sent out a message with the subject "Desperate need for blood." I know she meant the need for donations, but all I can think of is her going on a total murderous rampage. She has a desperate need for blood. Desperate. ~CK
